The Conversion Process for Void Protocol Tokens

$VOID and $xVOID are separate tokens within the Void Protocol ecosystem. Upon completing the conversion process, one token will be burned, and its counterpart will be minted. The conversion process allows users to convert between the liquid token ($VOID) and the staked, soulbound token ($xVOID), based on their participation in the ecosystem.

Converting $VOID for $xVOID

• $VOID may be converted to $xVOID at any time without penalty or restriction.

• Conversion Ratio: The conversion ratio between $VOID and $xVOID is always 1:1 (100%).

• Unlock Period: There is no unlock period for $VOID to $xVOID conversion. This means instant conversion when users decide to stake $VOID to become a part of the Void Protocol.

Converting $xVOID for $VOID

The conversion process to convert $xVOID to $VOID involves an unlock period. The user can choose the duration of the unlock period, and the conversion ratio will increase proportionally with the duration:

• Conversion Duration: 15 days

  • Conversion Ratio: 1 $xVOID : 0.25 $VOID (25%)

  • Remaining 75% of $xVOID will be burned upon claiming the conversion.

• Conversion Duration: 75 days

  • Conversion Ratio: 1 $xVOID : 0.50 $VOID (50%)

  • Remaining 50% of $xVOID will be burned upon claiming the conversion.

• Conversion Duration: 150 days

  • Conversion Ratio: 1 $xVOID : 1 $VOID (100%)

  • No $xVOID burned—the full amount of $xVOID will be converted back to $VOID.

Conversion Cancellation and Modifications

• Users can cancel the conversion process at any time during the unlock period, including after the unlock period has ended but before the conversion is claimed.

• If users cancel the conversion before its end, the entire process will be voided, and they will retrieve their full amount of $xVOID without receiving any $VOID.

• If a user initiates another conversion after cancellation, they must start the unlock period again from the beginning.

Disclaimer

We reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the burned $xVOID from 15-day and 75-day conversions to support the ongoing development, ecosystem rewards and/or expansion of the network. These tokens help ensure protocol liquidity, market stability, and continued growth of the Void Protocol ecosystem.
